Jonas Kandjeke appointed new business consultant at SanlamAllianz

Jonas Kandjeke is a final-year business administration student at the University of Namibia (Unam) and currently serves as a new business consultant for the northern region at SanlamAllianz.

He began his role on 1 April, bringing with him prior experience within the organisation as both a consultant and training assistant.

Through his internship and hands-on exposure, Kandjeke developed a strong understanding of policy processing systems, workflow coordination, and the importance of turnaround time in client service.

These experiences have shaped his ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment and position him well for this role.

He currently covers Ondangwa while also serving as an assistant in Oshakati.

He is responsible for managing and processing new business cases with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring that financial advisors are supported and able to receive their commissions without unnecessary delays. His work plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering timely service within the business.

Receiving the call to step into this role was both exciting and affirming, Kandjeke said.

Having trained in this capacity before, he viewed the opportunity as a natural progression and a chance to further demonstrate his capabilities and commitment to excellence.

His career journey thus far has been significantly shaped by his time at SanlamAllianz, where evolving industry demands, particularly the shift toward efficiency, digital systems, and performance-driven outcomes, have influenced his approach to work. He has developed a strong focus on delivering results with precision and consistency.

Looking ahead, Kandjeke sees key opportunities for innovation in improving operational efficiency and streamlining processes within new business functions. He is particularly driven to build a reputation for ensuring that cases are processed seamlessly, enabling advisors to focus on client relationships and performance.

This new role represents an important step in both his personal and professional growth. With long-term aspirations of becoming a general manager, Kandjeke is guided by core values of discipline and consistency, which underpin his approach to continuous improvement.

Beyond his professional life, Kandjeke is also known as Jayk the artist, expressing his creativity through music, an unexpected dimension that reflects his versatility and drive.

A dedicated coffee enthusiast, he stays energised and focused throughout the day. His daily motivation is grounded in a simple yet powerful belief: “Consistency builds success.”
