Regilio Skrywer strengthens digital security systems
inTouch Interactive Marketing has welcomed Regilio Skrywer as its new cybersecurity and information technology (IT) technician.
Skrywer brings a blend of technical expertise, curiosity and innovation to the company's growing digital landscape.
Skrywer said he was drawn to the role by inTouch's creative and forward-thinking approach. “The opportunity to work for a media-driven, forward-thinking organisation thrilled me,” he said. “I was particularly drawn to inTouch’s blend of creativity and innovation, and I saw it as a chance to use my cybersecurity and IT expertise in a fast-paced setting.”
He began working in IT with hands-on experience in technical support.
“I started my career in IT support, assisting customers with everything from networking to hardware,” he explained. “I eventually became really interested in cybersecurity, which prompted me to pursue my honours in information security and obtain a few certifications. Curiosity and practical experience have been the foundation of this gradual growth.”
In his new role, Skrywer’s main priority is ensuring the security and efficiency of inTouch and Network Media Hub (NMH) systems. “This entails preserving dependable networks, enhancing system effectiveness, and ensuring the security of our users and data,” he said.
Small improvements, big rewards
Skrywer hopes to make an impact by being proactive and solution-driven. “I want to have an influence by being proactive, resolving issues before they arise, and encouraging coworkers to use technology safely. I am big on teamwork and think that daily tiny improvements add up to great outcomes,” he said.
Acknowledging the challenges of keeping up with evolving technologies, Skrywer remains committed to staying ahead through learning and collaboration. “Keeping up with rapidly evolving technologies and cyberthreats is the largest challenge,” he noted. “But through education, teamwork, and hands-on experience with new tools and systems, I intend to maintain my sharpness.”
Seamless systems
What sets Skrywer apart, he said, is his ability to merge technical precision with practical problem-solving. “I’m equally at ease troubleshooting hardware, aiding in network setup, or strengthening system security, and my constant goal is to improve how people use technology."
For Skrywer, the true reward lies in making technology work seamlessly for others. “I enjoy helping others and finding solutions to issues. Knowing that the job I do, whether it’s system restoration, network performance enhancement, or security strengthening, keeps things operating efficiently in the background is truly satisfying,” he concluded.
